At 13, inspired by her uncle Joe Chambers—a Nashville songwriter whose work included the Ricky Van Shelton hit "I Meant Every Word He Said"—she dreamed of one day telling stories through music. Life took her in other directions first.

Over the years, LeNae built a career in law, healthcare, media, and business leadership while continuing to write. Eventually, those stories found their way back to where they started: songwriting.
